What is this story about?

The story of Carrindon, short for Carrindon: Wizardry Foundation is about a unicorn named Carrindon, without going into too much detail I'll give a synopsis.

In this story, Carrindon has been living alone, away from the eye of the public for a while now. That is because in the continent of Tomalara there are mages who seek the essence of the unicorns for their own malicious doings. She makes her way around keeping an eye on the small towns near her home, which is when something out of the ordinary happens. From here is where the story begins.
